Did not request all the tests done

Thank you for bringing in your 2002 GMC Yukon for your "Check Engine Light" and failed inspection. We ran a few tests that were required to diagnose your "Service Engine Soon." We did report back any additional trouble codes that we found, but did not run any extra tests on those because they were not related to the emissions failure. We always try to run the most minimal amount of tests to definitively diagnose the problem. In this case we scanned the control units and performed 1 test which is an evaporative emission's smoke test. That then allowed us to find the failed component and make our recommendations for repair. Please feel free to call if we could better explain our process and findings--973 377 1556.
